Aaron received a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005.  Later, he received his Master of Accounting from the University of Arizona. Before becoming a doctoral student, he worked for Wachovia Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, and as a high school teacher in southern Arizona, where he taught classes in accounting. Aaron's research interests are in financial accounting, including disclosure, capital markets and financial reporting quality.  In his free time he enjoys running, biking, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
